The annual Delmarva Chicken Festival came home to roost when the 62nd annual event returned to Georgetown, Delaware on June 17 and 18, 2011. The festival was held on the campus of the Delmarva Christian High School, 21150 Airport Road. The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will hosted the annual celebration of chicken, an event that began in its town in 1948.

We want to thank all who helped make this event such a success, from the Delmarva Christian High School who provided the venue and manned the giant fry pan to all of the volunteers who pitched in for two very long days.

The Georgetown Chamber is pleased to have had the opportunity to host such a wonderful event.
