Bayhealth to Host Milford Community Forum & Health Fair Feb. 1

Bayhealth Medical Center - Milford Memorial Hospital will host a Milford Community Forum & Health Fair on Monday, February 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Carlisle Fire Company, 615 Northwest Front Street in Milford.

This special event will include free health screenings, informational displays on Bayhealth programs and services, and the opportunity to interact with Bayhealth leaders, employees and physicians.  Free screenings include:

• Diabetes screening
• Blood pressure
• Skin screening
• Neuropathy foot screening

The highlight of the evening will be a program featuring Bayhealth leadership, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Vice President of the Southern Region and Bayhealth's new President and Chief Executive Officer, Terry Murphy, FACHE.  Bayhealth's leaders will speak about Bayhealth's focus on Milford Memorial Hospital, including new physician recruitment, ongoing improvements and renovations, recent awards and recognition, new services and future plans.  At the end of the evening, enjoy a free dessert!

Bayhealth departments scheduled to attend include: Bayhealth Medical Group, Education Department, Diagnostic Imaging, Occupational Health, Wound Care Center, Intermediate Care Unit, Lactation Services, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Stroke Center, Cardiovascular Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, Lifestyles Fitness Center, Respiratory Care, Intensive Care Unit, Total Joint Center, SleepCare Center, Cancer Institute, Milford High School Wellness Center, Volunteer Services, Chaplaincy Services, Customer Service, Marketing Communications, Human Resources, Bayhealth Foundation, Infection Control, Bariatric Services, the Milford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Bayhealth Physician Referral & Information Service.  Attitude Medical Spa of Milford will provide a free skin screening.
