Southern Delaware Go Red For Women

The Southern Delaware Go Red For Women event marks its 9th year on Friday, February 3, 2012. This event brings women of all ages, races and occupations together to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke in women. The Sheraton Dover Hotel is the site where hundreds of women will gather for 3 hours of education, food and fun. The day kicks off at 10AM where attendees will explore the many exhibits, silent auction items and health screening booths. At noon the focus will be on our special guest speaker, Dr. Robin Williams and our major sponsors,

Bayhealth Medical Center and Delaware Heart and Vascular. After a delicious lunch guests will be treated to a fashion show of extraordinary designs modeled by the many women of the community.

Heart health is the focus at this event. Education and research are the means by which women will become healthier and learn to prevent heart disease for themselves and their families. Come prepared to learn and enjoy this fun-filled day. For more information and to reserve seats: heart.org/southerndegoredluncheon or call: 877- 750-4276 Tickets are $35 per person.
