The Wiz

In Honor of Black History Month
Wednesday, February 3 at 7:30 p.m.  and Sunday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m.
"If you believe in yourself, you will have brains, heart and courage to last your life through," declares Dorothy to her newfound friends. The group finally finds the way to realize their hopes and dreams in this movie version of the hit Broadway musical based on L. Frank Baum's classic The Wizard of Oz.   Quincy Jones' high energy music propels Dorothy (played by Diana Ross), the Scarecrow (Michael Jackson), the Tin Man (Nipsy Russel) and the Cowardly Lion (Ted Ross) as they "ease on down the road" through a fantastic, magical land on their way to see the Wiz (Richard Pryor).   If you haven't seen this movie, you really shouldn't  miss this opportunity.  And if you HAVE seen it, don't you agree that it's worth seeing again?  That's what we thought.  Would you rather be home working on your income taxes?  Speaking of taxes, this film is .................   Sponsored by H&R Block, located at Rts 16 and 5, Milton.

TICKETS Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children 12 and under. Doors open at 6:30 for the evening show on Wed, and at 1:15 pm for the matinee on Sunday.
