Cheer to Hold Indoor Yard Sale

On Saturday, March 13, 2010 CHEER will be holding an Indoor Garage Sale at the CHEER Community Center, 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown. Doors open at

8:00 AM and the sale ends promptly at 1:00 PM. Donations for CHEER will be collected at the entrance.

Vendor space is still available. The cost is $15.00 for an 8' x 10' space and includes one table and two chairs.

The Georgia House Café will be open during this event.

On Saturday, February 20 at 6:30 PM, the Possum Point Players (PPP) will serve their dinner theater menu to the first 100 reservations for a minimum donation of $20 a person.

The doors will open at 6 PM with a cash bar. PPP volunteers will prepare and serve the meal. It will be the same menu used during the snow storm shortened run of their dinner theater: Tomato-Basil Soup, California Salad, Roast Pork Loin with Apple Sauce, Corn with Red Peppers, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, Broccoli and Pound Cake with Ice Cream, whipped cream and a fruit topping.

The Rehoboth Beach Theatre of the Arts announces its 1^st Annual One Act Play Festival to take place February 26 and 27, 2010.

Four One Act Plays will be competing for best play. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of originality, creativity, and entertainment value. In addition, the audiences will have the opportunity to act as the judges by completing a ballot to select the best "One Act" production. The winning selection will then be entered into the annual Delaware Theatre Association's (DTA) competition scheduled for Friday, March 26, 2010 & Saturday, March 27, 2010

In the procedure, an adjustable silicone ring is surgically inserted and placed like a belt around the upper part of the stomach. Possum Point Players is providing the guest bartender in a new fundraising initiative through The Brick Hotel in Georgetown. On Sunday March 14, from 6 pm to 9 pm, Nita Gary of Lewes, who coordinates the bar operations for Possum Point Players shows, will earn a $1 donation from The Brick Hotel for every drink she serves. She will also earn, for the Players, 25% of bar tips.

Nita Gary is well known to audiences of Possum Point Players. She has been managing the bar at Possum Hall for years, ensuring it is supplied, and even creating special drinks themed according to the running production.
