Join Jeff Cooper and Glenn Pearson from the musical group “Notes on the Beach” as they present the program Notes in Time: A musical journey through Tin Pan Alley and The 1940’s.

The program will focus on different aspects of some of the great songwriters from the American Songbook including George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and Cole Porter plus others.  The program also includes interesting stories and little-known facts that, along with their music, helps make this program more than just a concert.

Georgetown has a long history spanning back to 1791 when the county seat moved there from Lewes, which was criticized for being too far from western Delaware. Originally, Georgetown was laid out in a large square, but that was quickly changed to the circle we all associate with Georgetown with the historic Georgetown Circle at the center.
